Description
5/31/24 – This is a DWM Luger that was originally issued to the Imperial German military in 1915. It was later reworked and issued to the police. There is a “1920” government property marking on the chamber, tapped for a police sear safety (has been removed), and a unit marking on the back of the frame. There is also a “Circle S” marking on the left side of the slide. Some of the small parts are mismatched, and many of the parts have been re-numbered to match. Comes as a rig with a 1916-dated holster, a blank luger tool, and a police arsenal-numbered but mismatched magazine. The finish rates about 94-95% with minor muzzle and high edge wear. Fitted with mismatched wood grips. The bore shows pitting throughout.
