4/7/23 – This is an original WW1 production holster for a Mauser model 1914 or similar sized 7.65mm / 6.35mm pistol. The holster is maker stamped and dated on the interior leather. There’s also a typical style WW1 ink stamp on the interior leather. The pebble grain brown leather is in great shape with normal pliability and typical surface aging. A name has been scratched lightly into the top lid leather on the exterior, as shown. The closure strap has an added size hole.The stitching is in great condition, although we suspect the line of stitching on the “hinge” connecting the top leather to the body of the holster, as well as the closure strap stitching is replacement. Priced accordingly.
