11/14/23 – This is an original WW1 era production M1916 leather holster for a M1911 pistol. The holster is in very good overall condition with all original leather and stitching. The front leather and top rounded portion of leather has surface wrinkling and some mild cracking from age and use. No deep cracking however and the leather is completely intact. Nicely marked on the back leather. Original brass fixtures and all original stitching intact, except for a few loose stitches just below the belt loops, but this doesn’t affect functionality.
