Description
10/12/23 – This is a very nice example of a DWM Artillery Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial military proofs. It comes as a rig with a full leather harness, a 1915-dated holster (the tool pouch is starting to tear away), leather shoulder strap, wood stock (numbered but not matching), cleaning rod, and one mismatched magazine. The gun itself has retained about 94% of its original finish with minor wear around the muzzle and on some of the high edges. Some finish loss around the stock lug as well. Fitted with excellent mismatched wood grips. Very nice bore with great rifling. The hold-open does not work properly with this magazine.
