Description
8/2/23 – This is a very nice example of a DWM Luger from 1917. It was originally issued to the Imperial German military as evidenced by the Imperial military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. It was later reworked and issued to the German police force, as evidenced by the added police sear safety and replaced barrel with Weimar-era Eagle proofs. The gun has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is just very minor wear around the muzzle and on the side plate and some freckling on the grip straps. Fitted with minty un-numbered wood grips – the left panel is marked “S/42”, a WW2-era armorers replacement. Comes with a post-war Erma magazine. Mint bore.
