12/6/23 – This is a DWM Navy Luger from 1917. It is matching with the proper “Crown M” proofs. There is a “1920” government property marking on the chamber, indicating it was reworked and remained in government service after WWI. It comes as a rig with an un-marked luger tool, a repro holster, and a repro cleaning rod. The gun itself shows wear along the barrel and on the high edges in general. Thinning on the grip straps, and areas of pitting throughout, most noticeable along the barrel and on the grip straps. Fitted with replacement wood grips and comes with a force-matched magazine. The rifling in the bore is worn with obvious pitting throughout.
