Description
3/26/25 – For sale is a Gewehr 98M made by Amberg in 1918. The rifle was originally a Gewehr 98 but was converted to a 98M during the Weimar era. The rifle has a worn blued finish with the light freckling of oxidation. The stock has plenty of wear and was sanded. The bottom half of the buttstock was spliced and the splice is stamped “EWB”. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle is mismatched throughout.
