4/18/24 – This is a nice example of a Colt M1911 issued to the US military in 1918. It is all correct and has a correct “H P” Colt barrel. It has retained roughly 80% of its original finish with thinning on the grip straps and obvious spotty discoloration and flaking in the finish along the slide. Fitted with very nice period-correct wood grips. Comes as a rig with a 1918-dated holster and a correct two-tone magazine. The bore has good rifling with minor frosting throughout.
