12/16/24 – This is a nice Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1918. It is all correct with the proper “HP” Colt barrel. The gun has retained roughly 75-80% of its original finish. The wear is mostly concentrated on the grip straps, on the top of the slide, and on the right side of the slide. There is some light spotty oxidation with very light pin-pricking here and there. Fitted with period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout.
