Description
5/25/23 – This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1918. It is “United States Property” marked and has the proper “Eagle Head S8” military acceptance proof on the left side of the frame. Springfield barrel. The gun has retained roughly 70% of its original finish with fairly even wear and light brown patina throughout. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips and comes with one proper two-tone magazine. The rifling in the bore is fairly worn with minor pitting throughout.
