Description
10/3/25 – This is a nice shooter-grade example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1918. It has all the correct markings, but it has a replaced WW2-era HS barrel (polished in the ejection port). The gun has been completely refinished with some minor thinning on the grip straps, muzzle wear, some pin-pricking along the top of the slide, a small area of spotty oxidation on the left side of the slide, and a few tiny surface scratches here and there. Fitted with modern replacement wood grips and comes with a period-correct two-tone magazine. Mint bore.
