4/17/23 – This is a nice example of a Double-Date DWM Luger. Originally issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. All matching with imperial proofs throughout. The “1920” date on the chamber is a government property marking, indicating it remained in government service after WW1. It was likely reworked and issued to the police. “Crown RC” marking on the barrel. It has retained about 93% of its bluing. The majority of the finish loss is on the side plate, but there is also minor wear around the muzzle, and a few small dots of discoloration on the front strap. Some tiny surface scratches here and there. Excellent, un-numbered wood grips. Comes with a matching-numbered magazine. Minty bore.
