Description
7/28/23 – This is an excellent example of a DWM Artillery Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. All matching with the proper Imperial military proofs. This particular gun is a professional restoration done by the well-known Thomas Heller. Included with the gun are original receipts and correspondence between Thomas and the customer. The gun shows virtually no actual finish loss – just a few tiny scratches here and there and some tiny pits under the finish around the toggle. Replaced grip screws. Fitted with matching-numbered wood grips – the left side has two obvious gouges and a small chip in the upper corner. Comes with a period-correct but fairly worn magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is minor frosting throughout.
