5/5/25 – This is a nice example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. The gun is mostly matching, but the hold open is mismatched. It was reworked after the war and issued to the Weimar-era German police. There is a “1920” government property marking on the chamber and an “S. P. D.” police unit marking on the front strap. The gun’s finish rates somewhere between 85-90% with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and some wear at the base of the front sight. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips. The bore shows noticeable pin-pricking throughout. It comes with a custom wood presentation case and a mismatched WW2-era “Eagle 63” magazine.
