Description
9/29/23 – Very nice condition 1918 Gew 98 by Mauser. This is a mis-matched piece that is fully functional. Many of the metal parts have been re-blued or re-conditioned. The stock is solid with no cracks. Action is smooth. The bolt safety is functional, although somewhat stiff. Bore is very good and rates 8 of 10 with strong rifling. All visible markings are in the photos. Faint import stamp near the muzzle. Nice shooter.
