10/10/23 -This is an excellent example of a Colt Police Positive Revolver. According to the included Colt Factory letter, it was shipped to Standard Bros. Hardware Corp. in Detroit on June 4, 1924. It has retained about 96-97% of its original high polish finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle, on the high edges in general, and light scratchy wear on the back strap. Some light spotty oxidation around the muzzle and on the cylinder. Fitted with black hard rubber grips. Mint bore. It also comes with one box of vintage Remington .38 Colt New Police ammo.
