5/23/24 – This is a scarce, early WW2 production Police Luger holster. The holster is in great overall condition with all-original black leather and matching black stitching. The stitching is tight and original throughout with no notable issues. This example features a a unit or serial number stamp in the top right corner of the back leather; a common practice for WW2 German police arsenals. There’s also a Robert Larsen maker stamp, 1933 date stamp, and Sunkist star logo stamp on the back leather. The leather has normal pliability and great shape overall. Some light surface wrinkling on the closure strap and light signs of previous use on the interior leather. Correct, early brass closure knob. These early police Luger holsters are desirable and pair well with police Lugers produced through 1936.
