9/30/25- For sale is a large enameled badge from the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The 1936 Olympics were infamously a display of Nazi organizational ability and propaganda, immortalized in the film Olympia. Victories by American athletes like Jesse Owens disrupted Hitler’s idea of a display of Aryan superiority. The badge is about three inches square and is enameled. The Brandenburg Gate is white, the rings are individually colored, and the edging is gold. There is a diamond and PC maker’s mark on the back. There is minor wear but no serious damage. Overall in very good condition.
