12/29/23 – This is an original 1936 dated Luger holster from WW2. This is an interesting example because of the gash / damage on the top of the lid and back spine area of the holster. There’s stitching over the gash that extends through the joint of the holster, which suggests this was period repaired. The stitching is in great condition overall, with some different colored stitches on the back leather but this is minor. The leather is in great shape with mild pliability and normal signs of use and aging. An example that definitely saw “battle action”.
