Description
2/5/24 – This is a nice example of an “S/147” Code JP Sauer K98 rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1938. The gun is completely matching, including the wood stock. The metal parts have retained roughly half of their original finish with obvious thinning throughout and noticeable spotty oxidation along the barrel. The wood has no major damage but shows bruising and scratching throughout. The butt stock has visible waffen proofs, but there are some scratches on the right side that obscure some of the proofs. The bore has good rifling with light pin-pricking throughout. Comes with an original leather sling and muzzle cap.
