2/19/24 – This is an original 1939 dated German stopwatch. The stopwatch is fully functional and original, made by Junghans as indicated on the watch face. The reverse of the watch is engraved with a German Eagle logo with “M 1939” underneath. We assume the “M” indicates Kriegsmarine. The reverse of the stopwatch shows original finish intact throughout with some light, natural aging and patina throughout. No rust or pitting. The stopwatch has a functional winding mechanism and properly starts, stops, and resets by pressing the top button. The front of the watch glass is in good condition with a few light scuffs and surface scratches but this doesn’t affect visibility of the numbers and dials. Measures about 5cm in diameter.
