2/8/24 -This is a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1939. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 63” military acceptance proofs. It has retained roughly 70% of its finish, with thinning along both grip straps. A couple areas of wear and pin pricking on the side plate and one the left side of the muzzle. Some minor finish loss along the barrel, and some general high edge wear. A bit of thinning along the toggle and where the receiver meets the barrel. Comes with several official U.S military documents showing the provenance of this gun, which establish that Corporal Clyde E. Holesapple legally purchased this from Sergeant Charles Leiper on May 14th, 1954. Comes with one correct but mismatched “Eagle 63” marked aluminum magazine.
