4/11/24 – This is an original 1940 Hawig dated K98 cleaning kit from WW2. The field cleaning kit comes with the original tin, waffen proofed chain, oiler and a brush – as shown. The lid is maker stamped and dated, along with a waffen proof and serial number stamp. There’s some mild surface wear such as paint loss and dark surface patina. There’s a few minor dents in the metal case as well, but no major issues.
