10/3/24 – This is a nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military proofs throughout, except for on a couple of small parts. It has retained about 96-97% of its finish. While there is not much actual finish loss, there are light surface scratches here and there, dulling on the front strap, and an area of oxidation and minor pitting on the left side of the slide. Comes with excellent grips – one is numbered and matching, the other is un-numbered. Comes with a scarce late-war “U”-marked Walther magazine. Excellent bore – shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
