6/1/23 – This is a nice example of an AC 40 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is all matching with the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered and waffen-proofed Walther grips. The gun itself has lost the majority of its original high polish finish with obvious wear throughout. There are also some areas of tiny pitting, most noticeable along both sides of the slide. Comes with a later un-numbered “Eagle 359” proofed Walther magazine. The bore has great rifling, but there is light freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
