Description
3/7/23 – This is a nice example of a Colt Official Police revolver, manufactured in 1941 and chambered in .38 Caliber. 4″ barrel. There is what appears to be a “210” police unit marking on the butt of the frame. It has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish finish. There is finish loss along the barrel, thinning on the grip straps, thinning and pin-pricking on the right side of the frame, wear on the high edges of the cylinder, and an area of scratching on the cylinder as well. Fitted with a set of slightly worn hand-checkered Walnut grips – no legible numbering on the inside. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight, and the action is very smooth.
