Description
6/5/24 – This is a fairly scarce WW2 production MP.40 leather sling. The sling is in excellent overall condition with some light surface aging but no cracking or notable flaws on the leather. One end of the sling has two adjustment holes (distinguishing characteristic between mp.40 and K98 slings). Brass fastening knob. The metal-end of the sling is maker stamped and retains most of the original finish. The interior leather near this end is maker and date stamped, “gaq 41”. Overall an excellent example.
