7/6/23 – This is an original 1941 dated Luger holster from WW2. The holster is maker stamped and dated “dtu 41” on the back leather. This stamp is very faint and hard to see, but still visible. There’s also a waffen military proof stamp and P.08 designation stamp on the back leather, as shown. The leather is soft and pliable with surface wrinkling and mild fading of the black dye on the exterior leather. This is normal use and aging wear, and not excessive damage. The interior leather is clean. The back leather has initials R.W.M. lightly scratched into the leather. The stitching is all original, tight, and intact. A nice wartime example.
