12/6/23 – This is a nice BYF 41 Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1941. All matching with the proper “Eagle 655” military acceptance proofs. The original finish rates about 92% with areas of wear around the muzzle, on the barrel, on the side plate, and on the high edges. Some tiny handling marks on the grip straps. Fitted with matching-numbered and “Eagle 655” proofed wood grips – small chip in the upper corner of the left side. Comes with a period-correct “black widow” magazine. The bore has strong rifling, but there is spotty freckling throughout.
