4/19/23 – This is a very nice example of a BYF 42 “Black Widow” Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. It comes with a set of original black bakelite “Black Widow” grips and an original “Black Widow” magazine. The gun itself has retained about 93-94% of its original finish. Areas of wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the left side of the frame in front of the side plate. One tiny spot of wear at the base of the front strap. Minor thinning along the barrel. The bore is mostly shiny with strong rifling, but there is some light freckling in the grooves.
