7/11/23 – This is a very nice example of a BYF 42 “Black Widow” Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. It comes with a set of original black bakelite “Black Widow” grips and an original “Black Widow” magazine. The gun itself has retained about 93% of its original finish. There are areas of wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the high edges in general. A few very light scratches here and there. The bore has good rifling, but there is frosting in the grooves.
