3/18/24 – This is a very nice example of a BYF 42 “Black Widow” Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1942. It is all matching, has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs, and fitted with an excellent set of original “Black Widow” bakelite grips. It comes as a rig with two original “Black Widow” magazines, a nice 1942-dated holster, and an “Eagle 655” Luger tool. The gun itself has retained about 93-94% of its original finish with general high edge and muzzle wear. The bore has good rifling with minor frosting in the grooves.
