5/18/23 – This is a BYF 42 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. The gun has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is along the barrel, but there is splotchy discoloration and spotty oxidation on most of the gun. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips – small chip on the top edge of the left panel. The left panel fits a little loose and wiggles just a bit. Comes with a mismatched “Eagle 37” proofed magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is frosting throughout.
