10/19/23 – This is a nice example of a BYF 42 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. All matching with the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. The bluing rates about 90% with areas of wear around the muzzle, along the barrel, on the high edges, and on the grip straps. Fitted with matching-numbered wood grips and comes with a period-correct “black widow” magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.
