5/2/24 – This is an original 1942 dated Police Luger holster from WW2. Most WW2 era Police Luger holsters have become increasingly scarce in recent years, with 1942 being one of the most sought-after dates. This example is in great overall condition with all original leather and stitching. There’s a few loose stitches on the back leather near the top seam, but this doesn’t affect function or structure of the holster overall. The back leather is maker stamped, dated, and police proof stamped. The leather is soft and pliable but still holds nice shape. Natural surface wear and aging throughout with more modest wrinkling and wear on the closure strap. Overall a very nice WW2 Police example.
