6/15/23 – This is an excellent M1 Garand – the receiver was made by Winchester and dates to 1942. The barrel is Springfield Armory marked and dates to November of 1951. The stock is an un-marked replacement. Comes with a minty post-war leather sling. The metal parts have been refinished, and there is very little actual finish loss overall. However, there is some light surface rust on the left side of the receiver and around the front sight. Minty wood furniture. Near-mint bore. Muzzle reading: 0. Throat reading: 1.
