5/12/26 – This is a Colt M1911A1 manufactured in 1943. This 1911A1 has finish loss present on the entire firearm. We have removed cold blue that was previously applied to this Colt. The frame bears the proper ‘GHD’ military inspector’s mark just above the trigger on the left side of the frame. Has the original Colt barrel and matching numbered slide. The bore is bright with strong rifling, with some signs of light oxidation towards the muzzle of the bore. Comes with period-correct plastic grips with no signs of chips or cracks. This Colt also comes with a period-correct ‘L’ stamped magazine.
