4/22/26 – This is a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is “United States Property” marked, has the proper “GHD” inspection initials, and has a military cross-canon cartouche. Colt barrel with a small “F” under the lug. The slide is numbered and matching. The finish rates somewhere between 85-90% with general high edge wear. There is brown patina and minor pitting throughout. Fitted with period-correct reddish-brown plastic grips and comes with a proper “R” marked magazine. The bore shows tiny pitting throughout.
