3/26/24 – This is a nice example of a Colt 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. All correct with a matching-numbered slide. The barrel is a correct Colt barrel with a large “G” under the lug. The gun itself has retained roughly 85% of its original finish with muzzle wear, general high edge wear, and thinning on the grip straps. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with a proper “R” marked magazine. Minty bore.
