Description
5/10/23 – This is an excellent example of a Long Branch No 4 Mk 1* rifle issued to the British military in 1943. It is all matching except for the magazine which is un-numbered. Likely a replacement. The stock is matching but numbered, evidence it went to an arsenal. Tiny import mark on the left side of the trigger guard. The gun comes with a No 4 Mk II bayonet and scabbard and a canvas sling. The gun itself has retained about 95% of its finish with some minor spotty wear around the muzzle and around the front barrel band. Excellent wood furniture. Mint bore.
