11/13/23 – This is a very nice example of a BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 94% of its original dusty-blue finish. Minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges in general. Fitted with excellent period-correct blackish-brown bakelite grips and comes with one “Waffen 135” marked Mauser magazine. The bore has great rifling with minor frosting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
