6/15/23 – This is a nice example of a BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. All matching with the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained roughly 65% of its finish. There is obvious wear on the front strap and obvious thinning in the finish on the whole right side of the gun and on the barrel. Noticeable brown patina and pin-pricking along the left side of the slide. Fitted with very nice blackish-brown bakelite grips – some light scratching on the right side. Comes with an “Eagle 135” marked Mauser magazine. Very nice bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
