Description
3/23/23 – This is a very nice example of a BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs but the barrel is mismatched to the rest of the gun. It comes as a rig with a very nice 1942-dated hard shell holster, one “Eagle 135” proofed Mauser magazine, and a rare “U” marked Mauser magazine. The gun itself has retained about 94% of its finish with minor thinning on the front strap and minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges of the slide. Fitted with excellent blackish-brown bakelite grips. Excellent bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
