Description
10/5/23 – This is a near-mint example of a Remington Model 03-A3 rifle issued to the US military during WW2. The serial number on the receiver dates it to about December of 1943. The barrel is RA marked and also dated 12-43. The left side of the stock has an “FJA” inspector stamp, a Remington maker mark, and a military cross-canon cartouche. There is also an “OG” marking, indicating it was reworked at the Ogden arsenal. The metal parts have retained virtually all of their finish. Mint stock. Mint bore.
