9/9/24 – This is a Remington Rand 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. Proper High Standard barrel. “United States Property” marked with the proper “FJA” inspection initials and a cross-canon military cartouche. The finish rates roughly 85%. While there isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, there are areas of spotty discoloration, oxidation, and minor pitting throughout. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with one proper “L” marked magazine. The bore shows noticeable pin-pricking throughout.
