10/3/25 – This is a very nice example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. Correct HS High Standard Barrel. The gun has retained about 96-97% of its original parkerized finish. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is noticeable spotty discoloration on the slide, most noticeable on the left side. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with an “R” marked magazine. Mint bore.
