Description
6/16/23 – This is a very nice example of a Springfield M1 Garand issued to the US military during WW2. The serial number on the receiver dates to December 1944 – January 1945. The barrel is Springfield marked and dated January of 1945. The left side of the stock has the proper cross canon and Springfield cartouches. The metal parts have retained about 96-97% of their finish with minor wear near the muzzle and on the butt plate. The wood furniture is pretty nice with no major damage, but there are obvious dings, bruises, and scratches throughout. Minty bore. Muzzle reading: 2. Throat reading: 1. Though not pictured, this rifle does come with a CMP hard case.
