3/8/23 – This is a nice example of a BCD 4 Gustloff Werke K98 rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It has the proper military proofs throughout and all matching. The stock has the proper “Eagle H” waffen proof as well. The metal parts have only retained roughly 20% of their original finish with obvious bluing loss and thinning throughout. Areas of spotty oxidation throughout but most noticeable on the butt plate. Excellent wood stock with no major damage. However, there are a few more noticeable scratches on the right side. Comes with a slightly worn leather sling. Mint bore.
