Description
11/19/20 – This is a very rare 1944 dated hardshell P.38 holster with brown leather. One of the most scarce p.38 holster variations for collectors today. These holsters were made from scrap leather and are rumored to have been made via slave labor at the end of WW2. The holster has pliable leather and appears to be cut down on the interior – see the last photo. Stitching is all tight and original with no major issues. Leather is fairly clean especially since most of these holsters are found in poor condition. The back leather is well marked with maker stamp, date, waffen proof, and P.38 stamp.
