Description
12/6/23 – This is a late-war Inland M1 Carbine from 1944. It has an adjustable rear sight, which could be correct for a gun this late. No bayonet lug. The barrel is Inland and is dated June of 1944. The stock appears to be correct, but there are no “P” or cross-canon proofs on the grip. The metal parts have retained roughly half of their finish with obvious finish loss and spotty oxidation throughout. There are areas of noticeable pitting on the barrel, on the charging handle, and on the bolt. Very nice wood with only minor scratches here and there. Mint bore. Comes with one proper magazine, a nice canvas sling, and a “US” marked muzzle cover.
